All meat and poultry served in our school meals is Red Tractor accredited.
The Red Tractor logo is the leading British, independent mark indicating high standards of animal welfare and food safety; it guarantees that the legal environmental standards have been met or improved upon.
This accreditation provides our customers with trusted reassurance about food production standards.
Free Range Eggs
Our free range eggs are from Poplars Farm in Northwich, Cheshire.
The hens are allowed to roam free in the fresh air and grassland during daylight hours and have plenty of shelter from heat or humid weather if they desire it. Of course, they can also enjoy a good dust bath which conditions their plumage, removing scales and dirt from their skin. The chickens feed on a diet of high quality grain which helps in preserving the hens' health, the egg production and of course the quality of the eggs laid.
